Roles & approvals: who can draft, approve, and publish
Give teammates the right access — viewers, contributors who draft, and approvers who can green-light publishing.
Workspaces support roles so you can bring in teammates or clients safely. The role decides what a person can do — from read-only up to approving what goes out.
The roles
- 1Viewer — read-only access to the workspace.
- 2Contributor — can draft, edit, and queue posts, but not approve or publish.
- 3Approver — can do all of the above and also approve outputs and confirm publishing.
- 4Owner — full control, including managing members.
Why it matters
Publishing and approving are gated to approvers and owners. A contributor can prepare everything, but a person with approve rights makes the final call — the same human-in-the-loop principle, applied to your team.
Add or change a member's role from the workspace's members settings. Change roles before wide rollout so the right people hold the approve gate.
